The venue’s open layout and industrial-chic aesthetic made it an ideal setting for Claudia and Adam’s wedding, seamlessly blending old-world allure with modern sophistication.
An Unforgettable Cocktail Hour
The celebration began with a lively cocktail reception, where over 200 guests mingled and enjoyed an array of exquisite passed hors d'oeuvres. The menu featured pork taquitos with honey lime chipotle crema, hot honey chicken waffles with maple bacon jam, and caprese skewers. Adding a personal touch to the cocktail hour, a specialty drink – the Caipirinha – was served, garnished with Brazilian flags as a nod to the bride’s heritage. This refreshing cocktail set the tone for an evening of joyful celebration and cultural appreciation. All catering was expertly handled by Crystal Signature Events, ensuring a memorable culinary experience.
Elegant Tablescapes and Stunning Decor
As guests transitioned to the dinner reception, they were greeted by a beautifully designed space that exuded elegance and warmth. The tablescapes featured Ivory Satin linens for the guest tables and Oyster Marble linen at the head table, complemented by ivory satin napkins and gold Chiavari chairs with ivory cushions, all provided by A Classic Party Rental. The decor, meticulously designed and arranged by Detail + Design, included votives, candelabras, and dramatic floral centerpieces in shades of white, ivory, and soft pink. A particularly striking feature was the large circular floral display suspended over the head table, adding a touch of grandeur to the setting.
A Gourmet Dining Experience
The formal plated dinner was a culinary delight, beginning with a Mixed Greens Salad adorned with strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, candied pecans, and crumbled goat cheese, all drizzled with a poppyseed vinaigrette and garnished with julienne apple. The entrée was equally impressive – Maple Bourbon Frenched Chicken with an apple mostarda, accompanied by sweet potato mash and garlic roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon. The children in attendance were not forgotten; they enjoyed their own special meal of chicken fingers, french fries, and a fruit cup, as well as a designated kids’ area with tables and cotton candy bags. Their experience was made even more special with a pre-set mocktail of sparkling grape juice in plastic champagne flutes.
Sweet Treats and Lively Entertainment
Dessert was a delightful conclusion to the meal, featuring a carrot and red velvet wedding cake alongside Brazilian chocolate truffles, another sweet nod to Claudia’s Brazilian roots. As the evening continued, the band Tastes Like Chicken kept the dance floor lively and packed with guests. The dance floor itself was adorned with a custom GOBO displaying an 'S' initial, symbolizing the couple’s new shared last name, adding a personal touch to the festivities.
