Celebrating Taylor Swift’s Iconic Eras in Style at The Heirloom
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour took over Indianapolis, and Crystal Signature Events was honored to help make the experience unforgettable for fans with our SWIFT + SHIMMER Pre-Party at The Heirloom. Held over three magical days, this event was all about celebrating Taylor Swift’s artistry and giving Swifties the ultimate pre-concert experience—or a chance to immerse themselves in the magic even if they didn’t have tickets.
With the energy of Lucas Oil Stadium just steps away, The Heirloom became the hub of Swiftie spirit, welcoming hundreds of fans who were ready to shimmer and shine before heading to the concert.
A Tribute to Every Era
At the heart of the SWIFT + SHIMMER experience were 11 meticulously designed photo opportunities, inspired by each of Taylor Swift’s albums. From the whimsical dreamscapes of Lover to the dark, edgy tones of Reputation, every era came to life in dazzling detail. Fans posed with enchanting backdrops, props, and even glitter galore, capturing memories that would last a lifetime.
Debut Era
Our partners at Atmopheres Indy and A Classic outdid themselves with the "Tim McGraw" inspired setup, featuring a rustic wooden swing and backdrop that invited guests to strum a guitar and relax amidst pampas grass and greenery.
Fearless Era
Guests shared poetry and positive messages on a spiral notebook and snapped photos to send to friends and loved ones.
Speak Now Era
A London-style phone booth offered the opportunity to leave a message for Taylor before trying to win a free bracelet or heart-shaped glasses and posing with her favorite number, 13. Guests of all ages could enjoy elevated mocktails at this era's beverage station including a "Blank Space Berry Fizz," "Lover Lemonade" with a heart straw, or "Cruel Summer Spritz" with an edible butterfly garnish.
Red Era
This popular lounge area featured a stunning red rose wall, heart-shaped photo booth, lush burgundy and merlot linens, red-themed charcuterie spread, and crossword challenges inspired by her lyrics "Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer."
1989 Era
A "Blank Space" ticket was guests' key to a custom polaroid keychain with their fellow Swifties on one end of The Heirloom, and on the other, we welcomed Indy Humane to educate guests on the opportunities to adopt kittens in need of homes.
Reputation Era
Guests were invited to step into a clawfoot tub filled with jewels for an iconic photo op. At nearby seated rounds guests could challenge themselves with a branded word search.
Lover Era
Guests walked through the “guess that song” butterfly tunnel that led to two photo ops: a cotton candy sky backdrop with rainbow balloons and a light-up marquee spelling “ERAS” with a larger-than-life glittering guitar.
Folklore Era
With the Indy skyline and Lucas Oil Stadium (where Taylor performed each night), as a stunning backdrop, guests at The Heirloom's patio sipped Cardigan Chai Cocoa, browsed Satellite Vintage clothing and accessories, and chose a cardigan or flannel to pose with in front of the album cover backdrop.
Evermore Era
No Champagne Problems here! Cotton candy topped non-alcholic "Elderflower Champagne Shimmer" mocktails set with a mossy green backdrop.
Midnights Era
Guests could take a break from dancing in comfy Lovesac chairs or satisfy their sweet tooth at the disco-balled dessert display complete with Fearless Fondue, Butterfly adorned cheesecake, and Taylor's Chai Sugar Cookies.
Tortured Poets Department Era
A typewriter and rotary phone set the stage for a Victorian-themed photo op, games, and temporary tattoos.
The party also featured a raffle with exciting prizes, vintage clothing and custom hats for sale, and live music by DJ BK, who kept the energy high with a playlist that had fans singing and dancing along to their favorite Taylor hits.
Creating these photo ops was a true labor of love—taking months of research, planning, and collaboration to ensure we honored Taylor’s iconic eras in a way that felt authentic and immersive. Seeing fans engage with these spaces, sharing laughter and excitement, made all the effort more than worth it.
Elevated Eats and Mocktail Magic
Food and drink created by Crystal’s award-winning culinary team were major highlights of the pre-party, with a menu as eclectic and vibrant as Taylor’s discography. Guests indulged in crowd favorites like:
- Sushi Cones and Caprese Skewers
- Customized Grilled Cheese with Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Soup
- Chai Sugar Cookies (using Taylor’s own recipe!)
- A showstopping kid-approved Chocolate Fountain with endless dipping options
- Tasty thematic mocktails: Cruel Summer Spritz, Lover Lemonade, and Blank Space Berry Fizz
Every bite and sip was carefully curated to add to the overall experience, offering something for everyone while staying true to the elevated vibe we aim for at Crystal Signature Events.
The VIP Lounge Shimmered
For those who opted for VIP tickets, the experience was taken to another level. Guests enjoyed access to an exclusive private lounge. VIP guests experienced a candy charcuterie spread, a specialty Lavender Haze light-up mocktail, and a glamour bar where guests could treat themselves to tinsel extensions, glitter tattoos and fun make-up.
VIP guests also didn’t leave empty handed as each was treated to a chic clear clutch filled with concert-going essentials. There was also the most adorable surprise—a chance to interact with kittens from IndyHumane. Two of the kittens were adopted into their fur-ever home thanks to this partnership. It was the perfect touch of sweetness to complement the glitter and glam of the event.
